Biography

Zhang Mingjun, Associate Chief Physician, Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University, PhD in Surgery. He has been engaged in plastic surgery for nearly 20 years and has a solid foundation in surgical skills. He successively studied microsurgical repair and reconstruction and the treatment of congenital hand deformities at the PLA 89th Hospital and Jishuitan Hospital. He has participated in two National Natural Science Foundation of China research projects and contributed to two books. He is a Council Member of the Guangdong Plastic and Aesthetic Association, a Member of the Hand Surgery Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, Vice Chairperson of the Intimate Plastic Surgery Branch of the Precision and Digital Medicine Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetics, and a Member of the Wound Prevention and Injured Tissue Repair Branch of the Chinese Research Hospital Association.
Areas of Expertise: Repair of tissue defects of the limbs and face, breast reconstruction, repair of refractory wounds, fine scar revision, and corrective surgery for congenital malformations (hand deformities, cleft lip and palate, post-cleft lip nasal deformity, etc.). Aesthetic procedures: double-eyelid blepharoplasty and eye bag correction, intimate plastic surgery, and injectable aesthetic treatments, etc.
